This port of call is located along the Yucatan Peninsula’s coast. It’s an ideal spot for a beach break and snorkeling or scuba diving.
We chose a scuba diving excursion. This was very exciting as this was our first open water dive in the ocean since were got certified. We were well taken care of by the staff at the Dreamtime Dive Center and we would dive with them again with no hesitation.
Other popular excursions included a trip to the Lost Mayan Kingdom Water Park with water slides, ziplines, a Mayan jungle and other activities.
For those who prefer cultural activities visiting the ancient Mayan site of Chacchoben or going to a Mayan community to learn about the Mayan’s culture, customs, language and beliefs are also good options.
