We haven’t had the chance to explore much of this continent but we loved the places we had the good fortune to visit. From North America, this is a long and expensive flight, and remains out of reach for many. Even our first trip to Polynesia we questioned how much different it could be from the much closer Caribbean Islands, that said, it remains one of our favorite memories with its warm crystal clear waters, friendly people, and exotic scenery.

Oceania includes Australia, New Zealand and many South Pacific Islands (Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, etc.). This vast continent extends over an area of 8,525,989 km2 (3,291,903 sq mi) in the South Pacific Ocean. We were lucky enough to take a cruise through French Polynesia’s Society Islands Archipelagos as well as Rarotonga in the Cook Islands. For us this was a bucket list trip and we hope to be able to return one day…
